tl;dr—

• As an actor, I am interested in finding the most human parts of my characters — namely, their messiest, ugliest depths.

• I love developing new plays, especially those by women and queer writers, and deconstructing theatrical conventions.

• I also work as a copy editor, proofreader, and fact-checker.

A Filipino American, California-grown gal, I graduated from the University of Utah, where I earned by BFA in Acting and a minor in gender studies. During my time there, I took a particular interest in Shakespeare and spent a summer at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. I also fell in love with devising and movement-based theatre and co-founded Who’s Louis?, a performance collective that presented original and unusual theatrical work.

In 2018, I made my professional debut in In the Heights at Pioneer Theatre Company and, as my senior thesis project, presented Fleabag by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Since moving to New York, I have studied at the Barrow Group, the Linklater Center, the New York Butoh Institute, and the Upright Citizen’s Brigade, among other places. Credits include Specially Processed American Me (Dixon Place), Lucky Breaks (The Brick Theater), and countless readings and workshops.

I live in New York City with my two cats, Susan (good) and Oliver (evil). If you can’t reach me, I am probably watching a movie.
